German Language Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for speakers of German wanting to discuss the finer points of the language and translation. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I tried but I don't know if my translation is true, I would say

Du siehst aus schöner als vor, mit langen Haaren"

@Emanuel thx for you, anyway I used another sentence, I think that it has the same meaning, "Mit langen Haaren siehst du schöner aus als du warst" anyway Ich danke Dir –  Khaled Dec 26 '13 at 17:58

That sentence is more like "With long hair you look more beautiful than you were" –  thekeyofgb Dec 26 '13 at 18:43

Mit langen Haaren siehst du schöner aus als zuvor.

"zuvor" may sound odd in some areas; I'd definitely use "vorher", or if the time of reference was long ago (seems like in this context), "früher". –  Raphael 3 hours ago

"Mit langen Haaren siehst du schöner aus als zuvor." could be a bit too formal if you want to compliment s.o.

I would rather say "Mit langen Haaren siehst du schöner aus als vorher." But this also implements s.th bad, s.o. could understand "You looked ugly before"

"Mit langen Haaren siehst du noch schöner aus als vorher." is a bit smarter, like "you look like even more beautyful..."
