In the German phrase "aus dem Englischen ins Deutsche ├╝bersetzen", the language name, which is neutral in German, ends with "-en" after "aus dem", while after "ins" it ends in an "-e". Can anyone ...

Why “den Kindern” instead of “die Kinder”?

Den Kindern hat der Besuch ins Planetarium Spa├č gemacht. (The children enjoyed going to the planetarium.) Why is it "den Kindern hat der Besuch", instead of "die Kinder haben den Besuch"?
