Man muss hier darauf achten, das Diphthong nicht mit dem Hiat zu verwechseln. Ein Diphthong hat man nur dann, wenn der Doppellaut innerhalb einer Silbe ist. Also, Mie-te, aber nicht Kar-ri-e-re.
