How do we use “Verschlimmbesserung”? Verschlimmbesserung is a totally aceptable word in any context. The emphasis is on the not fullfilled promise to improve something and even worsening it. Verschlechterung is more neutral and may refer to exogenous factors leading to the degradation. |
