I'm a software developer using C# and .NET from the back end to front end and back again, working full-time for a software company here in Germany.
I contribute Service modules as well as Windows Forms, Web Forms, Ajax, ExtJs and Silverlight client modules which are currently deployed and running in the networks of customers like
and others...
As a musician, I compose and arrange, and perform on bass guitar and vocals.

How are we polite without using “bitte”? Some fast food restaurant around here has a display on the cash box that literally says " IHRE BESTELLUNG BITTE !!!" - so "bitte" alone does not always make things appear polite :-> |

How to give this kind of sentence more of a German sentence structure? I'm German and I always write sentences like that. Now it's dawning on me maybe I was an Englishman in my last life. :-> |

Is there a German analog for the English expression, “It's not rocket science”? "Das ist kein offenes Forschungsproblem" will probably result in a confused stare, followed by laughter after a second or two if they're smart |

Personalpronomen für „jedermann“? @Tim natürlich kann man das dann auch so verwenden, es würde dann besonders betonend, verstärkend wirken. Es kommt halt drauf an, ob man das möchte. Gerade rhetorisch kann man sich das gut vorstellen. |

Personalpronomen für „jedermann“? @Cerberus "Jeder" ist einfach eine kürzere, modernere Form für das doch recht antiquiert wirkende "Jedermann" (wie von @bernd_k angemerkt), und daher sicher auch möglich. |
