comment Wie zitiert ihr Markennamen in Büchern/Artikeln?
Windows für sich allein ist ein schlechtes Beispiel. Microsoft hat das zwar registriert bekommen (im zweiten Anlauf), aber es ist zweifelhaft, ob das überhaupt gültig ist. An sich ist nämlich Windows ein generischer Begriff für Fenstersysteme (z.B. X-Windows).

comment What is the origin of the prefix “schwarz-”?
Usually it is used when the illegal activity doesn't cause direct damage but leads to lost revenues and is thus widely regarded as a trivial offense. BTW, I would consider "schwarz kopieren" a much more appropriate term than "raubkopieren" to describe illegal copying of software or music.

comment Warum sächselt Erich Honecker, obwohl er aus dem Saarland kommt?
It's not so easy to tell apart these two dialects. I came to Saarbrücken mid 1991, shortly after reunification. Initially I thought those were all people who had emigrated from the former east Germany (although there were a few it was not true in general).

comment Verwendung des umgangssprachlichen Verbs “bongen”
@splattne Die Schweden schreiben Fremdwörter oft wie man sie spricht, z.B. habe ich schon "tajming" in Dagens Nyheter gelesen. "Salong" ist übrigens auch schwedisch.

IMHO Kampfmittelräumdienst is the standard word that is used most of the time, except for specific units in some federal states that are named Kampfmittelbeseitigungsdienst.
