What is “hochdeutsch”? Which dialect should I learn? Well, I don't thinkt, that there German classes other than Hochdeutsch. Even here in Bavaria. All the dialects are 'only' spoken, there's no offical writing for none of them. |

Plural of Batch Yeah, I'm quite sure that RoToRa is right. The main issue of this question deals with Batches, Chargen or Losen but not with Pachtes (which are always meant to be software patches btw.)

tragen trug getragen but beauftragen beauftragte beauftragt It's not really a question for a native speaker but maybe for a linguist. As a native speaker I never ever thought of this issue before. And as a person who learnt (or try to learn) some language I can only tell you to accept it as it is. But yes, it is not logical. At least not to me. |
