@Wrzlprmft, pray tell, how did you glean that this was about the capital letter, coz the OP never said so.

You are posting wrong German. Er steht auf die Bühne is not correct. Nor is Er steht auf den Lastwagen, unless he can stand on multiple Lastwagen at any one time. Please take more care when posting answers.

Ripuarisch. Definitely. I grew up near Cologne. I moved to Northern Germany to attend university. My friends helped me shift flats in the uni town from a furnished place to a new apartment. They needed to identify what was to stay and what they should pack. Friend: "Der Stuhl da?" - Me: "Der ist mir." - Friend: "Der ist meiner." - Me: "Nein, das ist nicht dein Stuhl. Der ist mir!" That pattern went on for a while until I clocked that they were correcting my grammar.

comment Was bedeutet “wohl”?
If the asker is not able to correctly write the German sentence that they want translated ... If the asker cannot even take the care to post the wording of the question correctly, well then, how do they expect an answer? If it takes edits from the community to even phrase the question correctly, wouldn't it be better to just delete the question? If the asker cannot be bothered to employ even the most simple means of quality control before posting, how can they expect that people bother to find a solution to an ill-asked question that requires community edits to be legible?

In many publications the entity of the state would be replaced by the entity of the government when it comes to being in charge of decisions, like Frankreich hat mit Sanktionen gedroht. Die französische Regierung [or whatever entity] hat alle Bankkonten gesperrt.

comment Was bedeutet “am Absaufen”?

comment What does “vorm” mean?
There is nothing in this question that could not be answered by a quick internet search of trusted sources, like Duden, Oxford Dictionaries, etc. Why post this as a question?

I marvel at you posts. Both German or English are either clunky or downright wrong. Wherever do you come up with these?

Bitte formuliere Deine Frage neu.

Can you provide a bit more context? How exactly is this an attribute to describe humanity? What is the whole German sentence?
