comment Gegenteil von Apotheose?
@sinned It's the best fit you are likely to get. Words can have different meanings in different contexts, which is why I added "in the religious context". Also, as the WP article I linked states, there is only one god in Chrisitanity, but that one god is composed of The Holy Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; the Son is that part of God that became a human being, i.e. who was incarnated, literally translated made into flesh.

comment Can one say “Schönheit”/ “Bescheidenheit” instead of “Gesundheit”?
On an unrelated note: the real Adolph Freiherr Knigge would spin in his grave at relativistic velocities if he knew how his name and work is being abused. His best known work "Über den Umgang mit Menschen" was about anything BUT whether or not to say "Gesundheit" when someone sneezes. Knigge didn't at all focus on such things in this book, and at worst held them merely a way to cover one's lack of actual competence. He detested people who made a career out of nothing but "sucking up" to people with insubstantial manners.

comment `jdn. heiraten` gegen `jdn. trauen`
Man kann auch jemanden verheiraten, also als transitives Verb. Ist evtl. Umgangssprache, geht in die Richtung ein Paar trauen, also die Rolle des Geistlichen. Kann auch benutzt werden von einer dritten Partei, die eine Hochzeit entscheidend angebahnt/organisiert hat, z.B. bei arrangierten Ehen.

comment What is “schlagen” slang for?
Er schlägt nach seinem Vater -> He looks/behaves much like his father. Er schlägt etwas vor -> He suggests something. Quite the versatile word, and more proof that your question is impossible to answer without context.

comment Warum klingt “treffen uns um 8” richtig und “treffen uns um 20” falsch?
@Jan Andererseits klingt "Wir treffen uns um 20 Uhr" wiederum vollkommen richtig, und das ist ja noch aufwendiger als "Wir treffen uns um 20". Es geht hier also eher um die Unterscheidung 12-Stunden-Uhr vs. 24-Stunden-Uhr.
