Jun 12, 2013 at 12:09 comment added äüö as "naja" (actually "na ja") is an interjection to express your doubt, it's not always appropriate, e.g. in official letters. "jein" is an adverb expressing your indecision between "ja" and "nein", I wouldn't it use in official letters either.
