I've been employed as an accessibility consultant and software developer since 2015.
I write JAWS scripts as well as third-party applets to improve accessibility for assistive technology users. I work with JavaScript and HTML every day and occasionally use other languages like C# to write COM objects for desktop-based apps. I also build accessible websites and web apps.
I've worked with virtually every type of app to try and make it accessible, including web apps written with various Javascript frameworks, Chromium desktop apps, SAP systems, Java apps, WinForms apps, terminal emulators, etc.
I test a lot of apps for WCAG compliance and advise on how to fix accessibility failings. I also provide accessibility training for development teams.
In my spare time I play around with BSD and Linux distributions, as well as Python, Ruby and shell scripts.
